Martin Marietta team hosts charity golf event

Event in Charlotte, North Carolina raised $100,000 for local charities

“As in previous years, this tournament was a blast and allowed for great fellowship between our Martin Marietta team and our customers, who all raised money for two wonderful charities,” said Anna Collins, the East Division’s communications specialist. 

Held in Charlotte, North Carolina, in May, the event raised $100,000 for two local charities, Urban Promise, a nonprofit providing children with afterschool programs, and Dream On 3, a charity that provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences for children with life-altering medical conditions. 

Collins said the Charlotte team has long supported the two organizations.
